Fundraising

FBC raises funds to support the Canberra Midwifery Program (CMP) and the Calvary Birth Centre (CBC) by providing the Birth Centres with “homely” items such as toys, crockery, furniture, birth aids and books.

How we raise money?

• a calendar is published annually in December – which is full of photos of all the families, midwives, women and babies who went through the CMP and the new CBC.
• an annual Birth Centre BBQ is held on the first Friday of December each year where the calendar is sold, giving families a chance to come together, celebrate and reunite with the midwives and FBC.
• donations – FBC gratefully accepts any donations (monetary or other) any time. Please contact us if you would like to donate.
